One of the very interesting challenges that we have completed together with the JEMS Architekci design studio in our long history was a well-known and popular place in Warsaw - Hala Koszyki. In 2012, the historic building of a deteriorating shopping hall, standing on a plot of over one hectare, was bought by Griffin Real Estate. The investor decided to give this building a second life and restore Hala Koszyki to its former glory. However, because it was a historic building, everything had to be designed under the watchful eye of the conservator and with his approval.

Light is the most essential aspect of how we perceive a space. It is responsible for the first impression and also reveals details that contribute to the overall experience. The way architecture approaches the matter of lighting in buildings is of particular significance, especially in the context of office spaces. This is due to the changing perception of such spaces by employees in the post-COVID period and the imperative to enhance their appeal. Nowy Rynek E is the office building of the largest Skanska office complex in Poland. Ultimately, its usable area is to be over 100,000 sq m. The building is located at the intersection of the most important communication lines in the capital of Greater Poland, and thanks to bus and tram connections, you can reach it quickly and comfortably from various parts of the city.

Facing the economic, socio-political or environmental changes and crises, contemporary architectural discourse is predominantly focused on technical and ideological solutions for evolving external conditions. This means that, at the same time, the classical understanding of architecture as the art of building, of creating durable, simple, timeless and universal objects, is disappearing.

Jednocześnie zanika podstawowa koncepcja architektury jako sztuki konstruowania trwałych, prostych i uniwersalnych struktur. Kultura budowlana, która harmonizuje użyteczność, formę, materiał i otoczenie, jest stopniowo zastępowana przez "systemy" zależne od złożonej technologii, usprawnionych procesów funkcjonalnych i zewnętrznych źródeł energii.
